South Brunswick Police Noon Update: 'Roads Impassable'

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ - Office of Emergency Management Director Chief Raymond Hayducka and Township Manager Bernard Hvozdovic have provided the following noon update on the snowstorm;
 
"A snow emergency exist and no vehicles should be on the roadway or parked on Township roads. Conditions have continued to deteriorate with most roadways being impassable," the update said. "Police have responded to several vehicles stuck in snow this morning. As of noon, 12 inches of snow have fallen in the township."
 
South Brunswick Public Works have 35 crews working to clear snow, police said.

“This is a major storm and it is going to take time to clear the roads," Chief of Police Raymond Hayducka said. "Conditions are hazardous and people need to stay off the roads and give the plow crews time to work.”
