SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ – Police are looking for a suspect that they say broke into a Davinci Drive residence and confronted a homeowner Wednesday night.

According to police, a female resident at the home off Stouts Lane by the high school, was upstairs in the residence and heard the sound of something breaking around 8:45 p.m.

She then went downstairs and saw a small hole in the kitchen sliding glass door.

About a minute later, a man, described by police as a black male with a stocky build, 6’2” tall, with a mustache or slight beard and wearing a black or brown jacket, allegedly pushed his way through the door and entered the kitchen, police said.

The woman yelled and ran from the house and the man also fled the residence and got into a vehicle parked at the darkened end of the cul de sac at the end of Palladio Boulevard, police said.

The suspect is believed to have gotten into a dark grey Honda or Toyota, and drove from the scene, police said.

Police are now looking for anyone with information from anyone in the area that may have witnessed the incident, as well as any security video of the area that may show the suspect or is vehicle, police said.
