SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ – Motorists will be facing milling and paving work in some township areas starting on Monday if the weather holds, according to an alert from police.

According to police, milling and paving work will take place on Stouts Lane and sections of Route 522 Sept. 12-13, which will close Stouts Lane both days from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m..

Ridge Road work is scheduled to take place on Monday and Tuesday between Perrine Road and Schalks Crossing Road from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m..

Detours will be in place, but local residents and school buses will have access, according to the alert.

In a similar way, milling and paving is scheduled for Ridge Road on the western side of Route 1 between Heathcote Road and Academy Street on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday between 6 a.m. and 2 p.m., according to police.

All of the work is weather permitting, police said.
