SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ - The wrestling woes continued yesterday for the Spotswood High School varsity wrestling team, losing 55-10 to South Brunswick.

After a brief respite from matches, the Chargers traveled to South Brunswick for their first meet since a Jan. 21 loss to Shore Regional High School. The team's last win was against North Brunswick on Jan. 7.

The loss to the Vikings was Spotswood's 10th in a row. It drops the overall record on the disappointing season to 2-12. They are 2-5 in conference matchups.

The bright spots in yesterday's outing against South Brunswick included wins for Tyler Jacobs and Brandon Grover.

Jacobs won his 132-pound weight class match against Riley O'Neill on a decision. Grover took his 152-pound match against Samson Manna on a pin, improving his individual record this season to 9-5.

The Chargers will next take on Lawrence on February 10 for a 7 p.m. away meet.
