SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ - Bob Caruso, a "50 Super Senior" (entry is age 60 or over) won last week's  Professional Bowling Tournament at the Cecil Raymond Memorial Tournament in Deptford, New Jersey.  The PBA50 tour is open to Professional Bowlers with a minium entry age of 50. 

After eight games of the qualifying round, Caruso was in second place with a score of 1,656 for the eight game qualifier, with an average of 207.00.

Moving on to the quarterfinals (best of 3 games) Caruso beat Super Senior Bruce Hall in the best of three contests.

Caruso advanced to the semi-finals and beat Super Senior Tommy Brodowski, of New Hyde Park, NY, 174-173, in the one game match play.

The final contest saw the Dayton resident victorious over Stephen Pavlinko, of Sewell, NJ, of 246-218.

Caruso earned a $2,000 first place check. Pavlinko cashed in second place for a $1,000 payday.

Caruso is a league bowler at Bowlero Lanes on Route One in North Brunswick.
