SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ -- The South Brunswick baseball team came away with its second one-run victory over East Brunswick in as many days, 3-2, on Friday afternoon.

Mike Reyes pitched six innings, struck out eight, walked one and scattered seven hits for the victory. Justin Cross earned the save with a scoreless inning, allowing one hit and fanning two. Matt Storch went 2-for-2 for the Vikings (5-2), who got an RBI double from Jacob Ciccone and and RBI single from Mike Slover.

Mike Sutton and Jay Bartus each had two hits and an RBI for East Brunswick (0-7), which got a strong pitching performance from reliever Evan Long, who allowed just one hit and no runs in 3 2/3 innings.
