SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ – New Brunswick’s lady Zebras soccer team could not get any offense together Thursday, falling to the Vikings, 4-0, on the road.

Zebras’ goalie Jaylin Martinez did her best behind the net, blocking half of the Vikings 30 shots and allowing only four goals.

Meanwhile, South Brunswick goalie Sydney Schneider had a much easier afternoon, blocking the only Zebra shot.

The surge in offense for the Vikings was a welcome sight after struggling during the season with its offense.

Senior midfielder Francesca Dimitrakis had two goals and an assist to lead the Vikings effort in eliminating the Zebras from section play in the preliminary round.

Fellow Vikings Cathlene Kasteta and Maddie Butler each added a score and Adriana Debari had an assist during the game.

South Brunswick continues at 7-5-1 and New Brunswick ends the year at 4-13.
