EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ - The East Brunswick Historical Society will present a program on the History of Inventing in New Jersey.
The program will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 8 at the East Brunswick Historical Society Farmhouse, located at 78 Milltown Road in East Brunswick. Refreshments will be served.
Linda Barth, Historian and Author, will be the speaker. She is a lifelong resident of the Garden State. Linda has written two books on the Delaware and Raritan Canal, and three children's picture books; Bridgetender’s Boy, Hidden New Jersey, and Alice Paul: Champion of Women’s Rights. She has recently authored A History of Inventing in New Jersey: From Thomas Edison to the Ice Cream Cone.
Linda Barth spent 45 years in the Bridgewater-Raritan School District teaching fourth grade and substituting after retirement. For additional information on the event, please call 732-249-3522.
