EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — There was one new COVID-19 case confirmed in East Brunswick as of Sunday morning, and a total of 30 new cases across Middlesex County, according to the county and the New Jersey Department of Health.

Middlesex County has had a total of 18,330 coronavirus cases since the start of the pandemic five months ago. There were no additional deaths related to the virus in the county this weekend. Middlesex County has had 1,194 deaths attributed to COVID-19 this year.

East Brunswick has totaled 707 COVID-19 cases since the outbreak began.

South Brunswick, Spotswood, Milltown and Helmetta all reported no additional cases of the virus this weekend.

The cumulative COVID-19 totals for each of those communities:

South Brunswick: 506 cases, 31 deaths

Spotswood: 112 cases, 4 deaths

Milltown: 96 cases, 4 deaths

Helmetta: 42 cases, 4 deaths
