NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ – Jerome Davis, 40 of Piscataway was charged with murder for shooting and killing a North Brunswick man last week, said officials.
According to a Wednesday news release from the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office, the victim, Patrick Olarerin, 57 was found in his North Brunswick apartment at 5:15 a.m. on May 14th and was taken to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick where he died a short time later.
Investigators arrested Davis that same day and charged him May 19th. He was also charged with burglary and remains in custody.
