SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ – Thursday’s wet weather couldn’t dampen the feathers of the Monroe Falcons girls soccer team as they shut out South Brunswick, 2-0.

Monroe’s Gennyka Liebenthal put the ball in the net twice, once in each half, and goalie Erin Seppi successfully blocked the Vikings anemic four shots on goal during the match to seal the win.

The Falcons two scores came from a total of 10 shots on goal, despite six saves by South Brunswick goalie Sydney Schneider.
