SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ - Tropical Storm Isaias left its mark on South Brunswick Township last week. Now, the township is offering residents a helping hand with the cleanup. An emergency brush collection is on tap for Monday, August 17. Residents can put fallen limbs, branches and storm debris on the curb for pickup next week. Collection will take the township a few days, but residents are being asked to put only storm not contractor debris on the curb by Monday.

Emergency collection items include:

  • Branches
  • Logs less than 10 inches in diameter

Small twigs and branches less than two feet can be put in a container. Larger ones should be left on the curb. Residents are being asked not to include leaves, bags, stumps and regular garbage with emergency collection items.
