The fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 1 at the Woodbridge Community Center, located at 600 Main St., Woodbridge, NJ.
Over 40 businesses will be recruiting for full- and part-time permanent job opportunities and will conduct onsite interviews. Industries include: Advanced Manufacturing; Food Industry; Health Care, Retail/Hospitality; Transportation/Logistics/Distribution and more.
A special community resources area will provide attendees with information about programs and services available to Middlesex County residents.
This year’s job fair places a special emphasis on hiring Veterans.
“Our economy is at a record low for unemployment, but there are still many veterans seeking career opportunities,” said Middlesex County Freeholder Director Ronald G. Rios. “It’s important that we remember those who served our country and help them in their efforts to return to a productive life back home. Our Career One Stop Centers offer priority services to veterans. This job fair is another great opportunity for them.”
Staff from the Career One Stop Centers will be on site to review resumes and advise job seekers on the latest strategies for finding a job.
“Middlesex County is committed to giving our residents free and accessible resources to find employment,” said Freeholder Kenneth Armwood, Chair of the Business Development and Education Committee. “Our One Stop Center staff will point you in the right direction for online information and other resources. Be sure to bring copies of your resume and dress to impress!”
