All are welcome at the workshop Plant-Based Super Foods for Families on Monday, Feb. 4 at 7 p.m. at the South Brunswick Public Library, 110 Kingston Lane in Monmouth Jct.
Learn about the many health benefits of a plant-based diet, basic nutrition, what products are available in the supermarket, why you might want to choose organic and non-GMO foods, and transitioning to a more compassionate lifestyle.
Handouts will include menus and recipes.
Susan Rose, Vegetarian Lifestyle Coach, will also present a simple meditation technique. Susan has been a vegetarian and meditator for over 40 years.
Since retiring from a senior executive position at Blue Cross/Blue Shield, she has conducted workshops around the world on the vegetarian lifestyle and is co-editor of Veggies & You.
