NORTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — The Greater Middlesex Conference Baseball Coaches Association Frank Gavigan Senior All-Star Games at North Brunswick’s Community Park on Saturday.

A home run derby will precede the all-star games. There will be two games being played concurrently on adjacent fields at the complex. The home run derby is schedule for 5:30 p.m. The two games will start at 7 p.m.

South Brunswick will be represented by Jay Chaddah, Matt Storch and Kyle Gruver. East Brunswick will be represented by D.J. McGuinness, Jay Bartus and Bryan Bellantoni in the all-star game, and by Noah Branco and Manny Branco in the home run derby.

All players, coaches, umpires and spectators are required to adhere to the safety protocols and social distancing guidelines Governor Phil Murphy’s administration has established statewide for youth sports.

Donations at the gate will be taken for the event's beneficiary, 11-year-old Ray Fantel, a middle school student from South Brunswick who was diagnosed when he was 5 months old with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) Type 1, a rare degenerative neuromuscular disease that results in severe muscle weakness and limited mobility.
