SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ - There are 24 new positive cases of COVID-19 in South Brunswick, bringing the total number of cases in the township to 139. The new cases are 11 males and 13 females, with ages ranging from 16 to 77. Yesterday, a fifth resident passed away from coronavirus, she was a 93-year-old woman who was hospitalized.
Today, South Brunswick opened a drive-thru testing facility opened at the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission Station Inspection Station in Dayton. According to the Office of Emergency Management, 200 cars showed up for a free test.
The facility will only be in operation on April 13th and 15th from 10 AM to 2 PM. Tests will be available to all who live in Middlesex County and are showing symptoms of Coronavirus. To make an appointment in advance, click here.
The state was able to confirm 3,627 positive cases of COVID-19 today, bringing the state’s total amount to 54,588 according to Governor Murphy. There are currently 5,060 cases of Coronavirus in Middlesex County, according to the state official COVID-19 website.
