EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ -- The New Jersey Department of Health earlier this week released new statistical breakdowns of how many cases of COVID-19 had been confirmed in each long-term health care facility in the state.

In East Brunswick, there were 14 confirmed cases of the coronavirus at The Chelsea as of Monday, two cases at Sunrise Assisted Living and 36 cases at Care One at East Brunswick. Four deaths at Care One were attributed to the virus and one at Sunrise.

In South Brunswick, there were two confirmed cases at Brandywine Living in Princeton and 51 cases at Park Place Center, which has had 12 deaths attributed to COVID-19.

The two townships account for five of the 37 residential facilities in Middlesex County.
