SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ - Who doesn't need a little inspiration these days as the coronavirus pandemic and stay-at-home continues? The South Brunswick Public Library has the answer with a virtual talk hosted by ultra marathoner, Ironman, Crossfit coach and yoga instructor/studio owner Keri Mandell. Mandell will be online for the library on Monday, June 8 at 7 p.m. Residents can register for this free event on the South Brunswick Public Library's website.
Mandell is a former special education teacher, learning consultant and school administrator. She left her educational career to embark on a completely different path. Today she owns the Empower Yoga studio in Ewing. Her mantra is "it's a great day to be alive." Mandell has devoted her life to fitness as well as helping others live a strong, healthy life while also focusing on being a good person.
In her June 8 virtual talk, she will share her inspirational story as well as how and why she competed in the World Marathon Challenge which involves running 26.2 miles on seven continents in seven days. Once registered, participants in the virtual talk with Mandell will receive meeting information a few days prior to the June 8 event.
