MILLTOWN, NJ - You never know who or what is lurks in the shadows along the boardwalks in New Jersey when the rides close and everyone goes home for the night especially during the days leading up to Halloween. If you love enjoy thrills and chills, head to the 2019 Milltown Haunted River Walk.

The theme for this year's annual Haunted River Walk is the Desolate Boardwalk. The creepy stroll along the borough's Mill Pond Path is hosted by the Joyce Kilmer Class of 2020. The scare-worthy event will be held on Thursday, October 24 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and on Friday, October 25 and Saturday, October 26 from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. The rain date is Sunday, October 27.

Tickets are sold in the Milltown Rescue Squad parking lot which is located at 8 South Main Street. All ticket sales are cash only. Tickets are available on the evening of each walk and are $8 for adults, $6 for children and $4 for seniors. Haunted Walk tickets are cash only. Ticket sales end 15 minutes prior to the last tour. The Haunted River Walk is not recommended for children 10 and under unless they are accompanied by an adult. All of the proceeds from the walk go to support the Joyce Kilmer School's Class of 2020.
