SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ -- The number of additional COVID-19 cases in the township increased by four as of late Wednesday, according to data provided by the township and by the Middlesex County Health Department.
Of the new cases, three are female and one is a male. The new cases range in age from 20 to 27 years old.
There were 94 new cases of the coronavirus in Middlesex County on Thursday, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the county to 14,332, the fourth most of any county in the state. There have been 841 deaths in Middlesex County attributed to COVID-19.
Statewide, there is a total of 142,704 cases, an increase of 1,144 overnight, with 9,946 deaths reported, according to the State Department of Health. Thursday is the ninth consecutive day that the daily total of new COVID-19 cases in the state has been under 2,000.
The three-day rolling average of new COVID-19 cases in New Jersey is 919.7, which is the lowest three-day rolling rate in nearly two months.
