MILLTOWN, NJ - The Milltown Ice Cream Depot is back to dishing out ice cream after closing late Sunday evening when the roof partially collapsed on a neighboring building. The roof on the building on South Main Street next to the Milltown Ice Cream Depot used to house Mr. A's Quality Cleaners. Remax currently occupies the building and the former owners of Mr. A's live in an upstairs apartment. All of the buildings occupants were safely evacuated. Businesses along that portion of South Main Street were also evacuated due to safety concerns and traffic was redirected on the roadway. Late Monday afternoon, the Milltown Ice Cream Depot's owner, Joan Trent made an annoucement on Facebook that the popular spot was given the okay to reopen by the Middlesex County Fire Marshal.
