NEW BRUNSWICK,NJ  - An FBI agent was arrested and charged with illegally photographing a 22-year-old woman in a dressing room, Middlesex County Prosecutor Andrew Carey said today.

The agent, Danuel Brown, 30, of Piscataway, was arrested was Thursday and charged with a single count of fourth-degree invasion of privacy for allegedly using his cell phone to take pictures of the woman while she was changing clothes in a dressing room in Edison, Carey said in a joint statement with Edison police Chief Thomas Bryan.

They did not identify the location of the dressing room.

Police responded to a 911 call from the victim, who said she had been photographed, authorities said.

When confronted by the victim, Brown, identified himself as a law enforcement officer.

Edison police Detective Loren Long and Detective Allie Bitterman from the prosecutor’s office determined Brown placed his cell phone underneath the dressing room door and took multiple photographs of the victim, Carey said in the statement.

Brown was being held this morning in the Middlesex County Adult Corrections Center, in North Brunswick,  pending an initial court appearance in New Brunswick.
