Join a discussion with Oscar winner and East Brunswick native, David Rabinowitz, and a screening of his film, BlacKkKlansman.

The Jewish Federation in the Heart of NJ, in partnership with the Two River Theater and Indie Street Film Festival, presents a very special morning with Oscar-winning co-writer of BlacKkKlansman, David Rabinowitz. 


The event will take place on Sunday, July 28, 2019, 10:30AM - 1:30PM at the Two River Theater, located at 21 Bridge Ave, Red Bank.

The film by visionary filmmaker Spike Lee, is based on the autobiographical book Black Klansman by Ron Stallworth, and is a true story following an African-American detective who infiltrates and exposes the Ku Klux Klan in 1970's Colorado. New Jersey native David Rabinowitz co-wrote the screen play that won an Academy Award for Best Writing Adapted Screen Play, among many other awards and nominations.

There will be a live pre-film discussion followed by a screening of BlacKkKlansman.
