1 Dead, 1 Injured in New Brunswick Early Morning Shooting

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ — A gunman fired into a vehicle early this morning on Easton Avenue striking two occupants in a targeted act of violence, according to police. 

Treatment was sought at a local hospital, but one of the victims died from their injuries.  The second victim is currently in stable condition, police said.

South Brunswick Approves Contract for Police Body Cameras for Five Years

            SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ - The South Brunswick Police Department has approved a contract to supply every officer with a body camera, in-car camera and a taser unit. The Township Council approved a five-year contract with Axon Enterprises for one million dollars. The police department will also receive $205,000 from the state’s Body Worn Camera Grant.
