SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ - Middlesex County Prosecutor Andrew C. Carey, Chief Fred Tavener of the Plainsboro Police Department and Chief Raymond J. Hayducka of the South Brunswick Police Department announced on Wednesday that a math tutor in Plainsboro charged on July 31 with inappropriately touching a 15-year old student has also been charged with criminal conduct involving three additional victims.
Suresh Rawal was arrested last month in Plainsboro and charged with inappropriately touching a 15 year-old student. The 65-year-old East Windsor resident was arrested on July 31 and charged with one count of aggravated criminal sexual contact in the third degree, one count of endangering the welfare of a child in the third degree and one count of criminal sexual contact in the fourth degree. The South Brunswick Police Department detectives learned after Rawal's arrest that he has been a tutor in the South Brunswick area in the past with some tutoring sessions taking place in township homes.
Since his arrest, three more victims have been discovered, including one in South Brunswick. Throughout the course of the ongoing investigation, it was determined that in April of 1999, Rawal inappropriately touched a child between the age of 6 and 7 years of age during a tutoring session at Rawal’s residence in Plainsboro. Investigators also determined that between May 2019 and July 2019, Rawal inappropriately touched an 11-year-old on multiple occasions during tutoring sessions. These tutoring sessions took plance at Rawal's place of business, the KASR Capital Academy. KASR Capital Academy is located on Plainsboro Road in Plainsboro.
Finally, investigators found Rawal also inappropriately touched a 16-year-old South Brunswick resident at a tutoring session in August of 2017. The incident occurred at the student's home in the township.
