SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ - The South Brunswick Police Department has arrested two men in connection with a July 16 robbery on Bayberry Court. Al' Jamar Taylor and Jason Briggs were arrested and charged with robbery, possession of a controlled dangerous substance and distribution of herion. Both men are 18 years of age and reside in South Brunswick.

The July 16 robbery followed a motor vehicle accident. Officers and detectives determined after canvasing the area and interviewing witnesses that the man involved in the crash was lured to Bayberry Court by Taylor and Briggs. The SBPD responded to a call at 5:11 p.m. on Tuesday for a car accident. Upon arrival, officers learned the victim was seated in the driver's seat when he was forcibly removed from the vehicle by two men and then punched. After being pulled from the car, the vehicle rolled foward and hit a parked car. Once he was pulled from the car, the victim told police he was assaulted and robbed of a backpack that was in the car. 

Taylor and Briggs were arrested at their residence on Bayberry Court at 10 p.m. on July 16. Detectives recovered 50 decks of heroin and marijuana from the scene.
