SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ - The township will be celebrating Independence Day on Wednesday, July 3 at the Crossroads South Middle School from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Fireworks are set to begin at around 9:15 p.m.  Crossroads South is located at 195 Major Road. This family-friendly event is free and will featrue music and food vendors along with the annual fireworks display.

Since this event is always popular with residents, the South Brunswick Police Departments is reminding residents that there will be increased vehicle and pedestrian traffic on the streets surrounding the Crossroads Middle School. The SBPD expects the largest volume of in the area between 7:30 p.m. and 10 p.m.

Parking will not be allowed on Major Road, Kingston Lane and Georges Road during the Independence Day event. Parking will be allowed at the Crossroads South Middle School parking lots which are located off of Kingston Lane. Parking will not be allowed at the Crossroads North Middle School parking lots off of Georges Road. Additional parking will be available at the South Brunswick Public Library and the South Brunswick Municipal Complex.
