SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ - South Brunswick Police Chief Raymond Hayducka announced Tuesday along with Middlesex County Prosecutor Andrew C. Carey that the South Brunswick Police Department is joining the investigation into math tutor Suresh Rawal. Rawal was arrested last week in Plainsboro and charged with inappropriately touching a 15 year-old student. The 65-year-old East Windsor resident was arrested on July 31 and charged with one count of aggravated criminal sexual contact in the third degree, one count of endangering the welfare of a child in the third degree and one count of criminal sexual contact in the fourth degree.

The South Brunswick Police Department detectives have learned since Rawal's arrest that he has been a tutor in the South Brunswick area in the past with some tutoring sessions taking place in township homes. Plainsboro detectives determined through the course of their investigation that Rawal inappropriately touched a 15-year-old during a tutoring session that took place at the KASR Capital Academy in Plainsboro on July 28.
