MONMOUTH JUNCTION, NJ - The South Brunswick Police Department is seeking additional victims in the recent mailbox break ins at the Monmouth Junction and Dayton Post Offices. The break ins occurred on the morning of December 1 and detectives investigating the case have identified two suspects. However, detectives feel there are other victims impacted within the township.
The SBPD is asking anyone who deposited mail in the blue mailboxes at the Monmouth Junction or Dayton Post Office between 3:00 p.m. on November 30, 2019 and 6:30 a.m. on December 1, 2019 that contained cash, checks, electronics or other items of value to please contact Detective Timothy Hoover of the South Brunswick Police Department at 732-329-4000 extension 7443.
Police did located the suspect's vehicle in North Jersey. A subsequent search of the suspect's home yielded pieces of mail that are linked to South Brunswick Township residents.
