SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ -- The South Brunswick boys basketball team continued its turnaround with a 53-43 overtime victory over Monroe on Tuesday.
South Brunswick (6-8) held Monroe to just two points in the fourth quarter as the Vikings rallied from a five-point deficit to force overtime. In the extra session, South Brunswick outscored Monroe, 12-2.
Devin Strickland led the Vikings with 15 points. Akhil Edekar finished with 11 points and Tyrell Murchison had eight in the victory.
