SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ -- South Brunswick scored 50 points in the first half and went on to a 92-67 boys basketball victory over Monroe on Thursday.

Devon Strickland scored 23 points for the Vikings (3-2), who broke out to a 26-8 lead after one quarter and led, 50-27, at the half.

Tyrell Murchison finished with 16 points for South Brunswick, which sank 14 3-pointers in the game. Eight different Vikings players hit at least one shot from beyond the arc. Justin Carbone netted 14 points, and Adhil Edekar and Yathin Vemula each had 10 points in the win.
