PENNINGTON, NJ -- The South Brunswick boys basketball team stepped outside its conference but kept on winning with a 77-74 road victory over Pennington on Tuesday.

Justin Carbone fired in 22 points for the Vikings (16-4), who sank 31 shots from the field. Devin Strickland finished with 18 points and Yathin Vemula added 15 points for South Brunswick, which has won four games in a row and nine of its last 10.

South Brunswick has no more conference games before the Greater Middlesex Conference announces its tournament seeds on Friday. The Vikings host Hillsborough Thursday afternoon.
