SOUTH RIVER, NJ -- The South Brunswick boys basketball team sank 32 field goals, including 11 from 3-point range, and went on to a 90-64 victory over South River Friday afternoon.

Akhil Edekar buried five 3s and scored 26 points for the Vikings (12-12), who broke to a 24-11 lead after one quarter.

Devin Strickland scored 16 points, Justin Carbone netted 14 and Yathin Vemula finished with 12 points for South Brunswick, which also outscored the Rams, 27-11, in the third quarter to head into the final frame with a 75-40 lead.
