SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ -- The South Brunswick field hockey team scored four goals in the first half and went on to a 5-3 victory over Monroe on Thursday.

Emily Disney scored three goals for the Vikings (2-0), who had a 4-1 lead at halftime.

Tori Cohen scored the other two South Brunswick goals. Carly Bansbach had one assist in the victory. Samantha Toma made 16 saves for South Brunswick.
