OLD BRIDGE, NJ -- Undefeated Old Bridge pulled away from a halftime tie and scored four TDs in the second half for a 36-22 football victory over South Brunswick Friday night.
After Old Bridge (4-0) had taken a 7-0 lead in the first quarter, the Vikings came back to forge a 7-7 tie on Ezequiel Johnson's 10-yard TD run in the second period.
Old Bridge scored 16 points in the third quarter to open a 23-7 lead heading into the final quarter. Johnson got the Vikings closer with a 2-yard run and a two-point conversion run early in the fourth quarter, cutting the Knights' lead to 23-15.
After Old Bridge scored on a long run, South Brunswick scored its final TD on a 32-yard pass from Gage Katzenell-Hall to Justin Lawson.
