MONROE, NJ -- The South Brunswick football team bounced back from a loss on opening night to earn its first victory under new coach John Viotto Friday night.

The Vikings defeated Monroe, 49-12, pulling away from a nine-point halftime lead with 28 unanswered points in the second half.

Senior quarterback Gage Katzenell-Hall passed for two touchdowns and ran for two TDs for South Brunswick (1-1).  Ahmad Alkalni caught a TD pass and Amir Brown had one TD catch and one TD rushing in the victory.
