EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ -- East Brunswick broke the game open in the third quarter on its way to a 42-26 girls basketball victory over South Brunswick on Tuesday.

Brianna Sliwinski sank four 3-pointers and scored 18 points for East Brunswick (6-4), which outscored South Brunswick, 14-5, in the third quarter to take a 32-18 lead.

Katie Rausch finished with 11 points, four rebounds and three steals for South Brunswick (2-7), which played the Bears to an 11-11 deadlock in the first quarter before falling behind by five points by halftime.
