JAMESBURG, NJ - The weather on Saturday was ideal for the 2019 Greater Middlesex Conference Cross Country Championships in Thompson Park. It was a banner day for South Brunswick High School runners. The South Brunswick High School girls varsity cross country team claimed the team title while Vidhur Polam was the boys varsity champ. Polam crossed the finish line with a time of 15:49.10 to win the boys varsity race.

Yashika Chidirala was the top female varsity finisher. Chidrala was fourth overall with a time of 19:44.86. Lauren Molter and Kayla Gate finished first and second in the girls junior varsity race while Emma Man and Megan Sidoti were second and third in the freshmen race.

Old Bridge High School claimed the boys varsity team crown. South Brunswick's boys varsity cross country team was third behind East Brunswick High School.
