SOUTH ORANGE, NJ – Martin Luther King Jr. remembrance leads the week in South Orange.

Monday, January 20:

2 - 5 p.m. - The South Orange/Maplewood Community Coalition on Race Presents Martin Luther King, Jr. Observance & Volunteer Fair at Oheb Shalom Congregation, Scotland Road, South Orange.  The speaker is the renowned Dr. William Howard of Bethany Church in Newark.  On this anniversary of the March on Washington, we will present a reenactment of Dr. King’s speech by nationally acclaimed performer and South Orange resident Kenny Vaughan, along with jazz performances, Voices In Harmony, and the CHS Special Dance Company.  Volunteer Fair to follow.
