19th Amendment Centennial Essay Contest  Deadline Extended Through To June 15, 2020

For South Plainfield Students grades 7th through 12th

To commemorate the 100th anniversary of women being granted the right to vote, South Plainfield 7th and 8th grade students, as well has high school students grades 9th through 12th are invited to submit an essay highlighting an activist who had a connection to New Jersey, and to explain the importance of his or her role to the ratification of the 19th Amendment.

Winners will be announced by Borough Clerk Amy Antonides, Council President Christine Faustini and Councilwoman Melanie Mott on Monday, July 13, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. at Borough Hall.
