2015 Middle School/High School Sibling Graduates

SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ – South Plainfield High School seniors posed with their eighth grade siblings from the Middle School at Spring Lake Park to commemorate their back-to-back graduations this week.

Mary DeLair, mother of senior Holly and eighth grader Catherine, organized the photo op through Facebook.  DeLair said, “I kept saying we have to get a picture of them together once we get the robes.  We have two very hard, emotional days to get through and I thought it would be great if we could get their pictures all together.”

Tears in every parent’s eye, the group of ecstatic teens stood proudly with their brother or sister for the last time as high school seniors and middle school students.  Among the 18 graduating students were Alexis and Justin Cavaliere, Holly and Catherine DeLair, Anthony and Connor Eggert, James and Jennifer Flasser, Casidhe and Jill Holoboski, Chris and Michael Marrero, Kelly and Bridget Simpson, Gina and Vito Tartza, Katelyn and Sam Wolak.

Lian Marrero, mother of Chris and Michael, said, “These years have been great.  It’s a very special class, great friends.  They’re going to be missed.  It goes so quickly!”

South Plainfield Middle School Promotion Exercises will take place on June 18th at 6:30pm.  High School Graduation will take place on June 19th at 5:30pm.  Congratulations to all of the graduates of 2015!
