The South Plainfield borough public celebrations committee's 2018 sixty-first (61st) Labor Day parade theme will be "South Plainfield"  "We are family". 

The committee encourages family, neighbors, students, schools, teams and organizations to create floats depicting helping each other, working together, family tree theme, use of bright colors, standing together.  Please reach out to Halls Trucking to request a flatbed and operator.    Organizations in South Plainfield who will be celebrating 100 + years old, will be honored during the parade. 

The committee is also requesting parade marshals  who are high school age and older to march alongside the parade lineup to insure all safety measures are followed along with a request for persons to volunteer to be suited into costumes for the parade lineup.  For Further Information Please Contact Debbie Boyle, Chairperson 908-803-1573.
