On Saturday January 20, 2018 the South Plainfield Public Library hosted its 2nd Annual Super Smash Brothers Tournament. Around 80 competitors aged 7 - 18 showed up to compete against each other. The competition was fierce, but in the end only four would be declared victorious - first place winner Ricky Lam ($100), second place Tava Pham ($75), third place Nathaniel Arias ($50) and in fourth place Ryan DeGroot($25). Gift card prizes were generously donated by Investor's Bank. Bank Manager Miguel Carvalho was also on hand to help cheer on the competitors and provide giveaways to all who attended.
