Did you miss a movie that you wanted to see in the theaters and don’t want to pay to rent it or for the DVD? Come to “Monday Night Movies” at the library.  It’s all the fun of a movie theater but none of the cost.  We are showing brand new releases every Monday night and we will be providing popcorn for all who attend.  The next movie will be Monday January 7 and stars Anna Kendrick, Blake Lively and Henry Golding.  Based on Darcey Bell’s bestseller A Simple Favor, Stephanie (Kendrick) is a vlogger and mother living in a quaint town who is seeking to find the truth about the sudden and puzzling disappearance of her friend Emily (Lively). When Stephanie and Emily's husband  (Golding) team up to find her, their journey soon reveals disturbing secrets. They quickly come to realize Emily isn't the put-together person she portrays to the world, and she could be concealing a dark side that changes the game. Please be advised, the movie is rated R for sexual content and language. The movie that is shown on Monday night will also be shown again on the subsequent Wednesday at 12:30 pm for those that can’t make the Monday night showing or don’t like to drive at night.  Stop by the library and pick up a schedule of the movies being shown.
