We also have some special adult programs coming up!  On Thursday, February 20 at 7 PM, join Jim Rose for his presentation The Healing Power of Meditation.  Meditation is being prescribed by many medical practitioners, and has been widely recognized as a means to enhance one's health and reduce stress.  Jim will share how meditation can improve our physical, mental, and spiritual health, and you will have a chance to practice this simple technique to reduce stress, enhance relaxation, and promote inner growth.  Please register by calling the Circulation Desk at (908) 754-7885 ext 2.

Join us Sunday, February 23 at 2 PM for Freedom Lessons: A Novel Book Presentation and Signing.  New Jersey author Eileen Sanchez will be at the library to give a presentation and to sign copies of her book, Freedom Lessons. It tells the story of three very different people whose lives intersect in a rural Louisiana town in 1969. Based on the author's experience teaching in Louisiana in the late sixties, this heartfelt, unflinching novel about the unexpected effects of school integration during that time takes on the issues our nation currently faces regarding race, unity, and identity. Books will be sold after the program for $15, cash or credit accepted; there will also be a giveaway of one copy.  Registration is required; please call (908) 754-7885 ext 2 to register.
