Did you miss a movie that you wanted to see in the theaters and don’t want to pay to rent it or for the DVD? Come to movies at the library.  It’s all the fun of a movie theater but none of the cost.  We are showing brand new releases every week and we will be providing popcorn for all who attend. Please note that the doors for the movie will open at 6:15 so we can finish setting up for the movie.  This week’s movie stars Nicholas Hoult and Lily Collins. This movie explores the formative years of the renowned author J.R.R Tolkein’s life as he finds friendship, courage and inspiration among a fellow group of writers and artists at school. Their brotherhood strengthens as they grow up and weather love and loss together, including Tolkien's (Hoult) tumultuous courtship of his beloved Edith Bratt (Collins), until the outbreak of the First World War which threatens to tear their fellowship apart. All of these experiences would later inspire Tolkien to write his famous Middle-earth novels. PLEASE NOTE: this week’s movie will be shown on Wednesday August 14 at 12:30pm and Thursday August 15 at 6:30pm.
