Department of Tax Collection – The Borough of South Plainfield is looking for an experienced fulltime Cashier/Clerical Staff to handle tax and sewer billings for the Borough of South Plainfield. The ideal candidate should have strong customer service and clerical/organizational skills. Task will include handling cash and processing tax and sewer bills. Running of various closing reports, typing, filing, processing purchase orders and as well as routing mail.  Must possess computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
