SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ- South Plainfield Junior Caity Hughes scored registered four goals, two in the first half and two in the second to lead the South Plainfield Tigers to a 5-1 victory over the Sayreville Lady Bombers. The victory improves the Tigers record to 2-0 on the season.

C. Hughes, a former soccer player as a freshman, recorded her first ever four goal game in field hockey. The heat seemed to have no affected on the Lady Tigers as South Plainfield swarmed the bombers net for most of the contest.

Stephanie Bohn recorded her second win of the year in goal for the Tigers.  South Plainfield next plays away Thursday September 10th in South Brunswick.
