SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ – The South Plainfield girls basketball team overwhelmed New Brunswick, 50-18, on Monday night in South Plainfield. 

The victory improves South Plainfield’s record to 4-4 on the season. South Plainfield’s Sarah Cargill and Kate McLaughlin each chipped in 10 points to lead the Tigers. 

The loss keeps New Brunswick winless on the season at 0-7. South Plainfield plays at JP Stevens in Edison on Tuesday.
