SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ - Colin Berry and Cody Decker, both of South Plainfield, received Bachelor degrees from Rowan University last week during commencement exercises.  Both young men are 2014 graduates of South Plainfield High School.  
 
Berry earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Marketing and was awarded to the Deans List for the fifth time.  He served as Director of Technical Services this year for Rowan’s Student University Programmers which put on concerts and performances for the undergraduates.  He had previously worked as Event Host for Rowan After Hours, Student Center, and Campus Activities.  He is the son of Thomas and Colleen Berry of South Plainfield.
 
Decker earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism with a Certificate of Undergraduate Study in Sports Media and graduated Cum Laude.  He served as president of the Rowan Television Network for two years, announced Rowan’s Ice Hockey games, and did play-by-play for Rowan Football.  He produced and hosted several campus television shows which earned the People’s Telly Award.   He is the son of Charles and Marianne Decker of South Plainfield.
 
Rowan University is a public institution located in Glassboro, New Jersey serving 18,500 undergraduats and graduate students.   It was recently categorized by U.S. News and World Report in its 2018 Best Colleges edition as a national university due to its status as a Carnegie research institute.
